In Case You Missed What They've Been Missing...

The Kansas City T-Bones put togteher a very successful 2004 season in Kansas City, Kansas this summer. Unfortunately, much of the City still fails to see what an attractive entertainment option the T-Bones are. The team's plays in a classically designed minor league park. The experience for the fan is as rewarding, if not more so, than a trip out to see the lowly Royals stumble through another dreadful year.

The question becomes why exactly have the T-Bones continue to be relegated to the back pages of publications, and cut out of nightly news broadcasts. The answer lies in the advertising accounts of these media companies that the Royals and Chiefs continue to fill year after year.

The coverage has nothing to do with newsworthiness, but instead we find a direct correlation between a company's commitment to advertise with these publicity vehicles and the regularity of stories focusing on their exploits.
